We welcome you to The Limes in Melksham
Shurnhold House was built in 1620 and divided into four dwellings in 2003. There is a small garden in front of the house and the lawn is edged with a box hedge.
The Limes is a comfortable home with two double or twin rooms with en suit bathrooms and there is a small double usually used as a single with en suit shower room on the first floor. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room during their stay and enjoy a blazing log fire in the winter or chilly summer nights.
On arrival guests are offered tea and homemade cake either in the sitting room or in the garden during the summer.
As far as possible locally sourced products are used for the cooked breakfasts, in fact the bacon, sausage and eggs come from across the road from 'Home Grown Pigs', a small family venture
The Limes is situated in the heart of Wiltshire rolling countryside just 9 miles from the famous "White Horse" at Westbury.
